Beginners Course
Learn everything you need to set up an Apiary and keep bees. Three sessions: one evening and two whole weekend days.

The Waltham Abbey Training Suite is well provisioned to give you the best start in beekeeping.
We have tea and coffee available throughout the day and a toilet.
Our course…
Covers all aspects from selection of hives, equipment and bees; bee biology, physiology, behaviour and genetics; frame making; honey extraction & regulations and bee health.
The trainers are full-time beekeepers who run over 200 hives between them and have 20 years combined beekeeping experience.
